Role Description
As a subject matter expert, with knowledge of industry best practices the purpose of the role is to assist colleagues and customers in choosing the correct solution based on the requirements thus fulfilling a consultancy role.
In addition, the role will provide key technical expertise in direct support of business initiatives and future strategies.
Key Tasks
To provide product, solution and pre-sales consultancy and support. This involves, but is not limited to, the preparation of printed material and PowerPoint presentations, analysis of customer requirements, demonstration of products and solutions from a technical perspective and at a level and in a manner appropriate for the audience.
- To maintain expertise in the relevant payment and technical solution areas in order to provide support to the business and its customers/prospects
- Provide product implementation consultancy to customers, partners and colleagues
- Collate and relay technical requirements from customers to the business as required and to assist in developing services to suit the requirements
- Provide regular updates to line management and the wider business through agreed reporting
- Have an active involvement in technical calls and discussions with all partners or suppliers
- Support 3rd party integrations and effectively understand our core solution and be a subject matter expert
- Maintain and build a detailed knowledge of PSP partner solution offerings
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and experience in Payment Information Technology, Project Management, and Databases
- Understanding of infrastructure and integration
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Relevant certifications and qualifications in IT or related field
- Experience in the payment industry is a plus
This is a hybrid role, with the opportunity to work from the Coalville and/or Croydon UK offices as well as on-site customer visits as required.
