Secure Retail are looking for an IT Support Apprentice to join our IT team, the purpose of the role is to provide frontline IT support to ensure the IT systems and infrastructure is fit for purpose in an innovative and progressive company. You will also be working towards the L3 Information Communications Technician Apprenticeship standard. What will the IT Support Apprentice be doing?
■ First line support to users
■ Management of internal Helpdesk system
■ Prioritise and respond to the requirements of the companies in a timely manner
■ Fix issues, and if required escalate to the Technology Implementation Manager
■ Daily checks – disc space, server hardware status and anti-virus
■ Project work
■ Sourcing and purchasing of IT hardware

End-Point Assessment (EPA):
■ End-point assessment (EPA) is the final stage that an apprentice goes through to complete their Apprenticeship
■ The Apprentice must show their learning to an independent end-point assessor and the grades available are distinction, pass or fail
■ The EPA will include: Project with Questionnaire & Portfolio Interview
Delivery Method:
Our delivery model includes a 1 day per week college attendance for training and development of skills, knowledge and behaviours and 1:1 support from your trainer assessor in the workplace and will include assignments, work-based company projects and self-study.
