Secure Retail is looking to recruit an experienced Contracts Paralegal / Legal Administrator, based at our premises in Coalville, Leicestershire. This is a part time position (20 hours per week).

You will need to be passionate about what you do, self-motivated, enthusiastic, have an eye for detail and can work with a small team, but also be able to work on your own initiative.

You will be experienced in working in a legal environment, be very organised, with an ability to work under pressure, be able to multi-task and to meet deadlines along with the ability to prioritise work.

The purpose of the role is to issue the commercial contracts to our customers, progressing through to completion.

For received contracts, identify commercial concerns and work with the external solicitors and Company Directors through to completion.

As the Contracts Paralegal / Legal Administrator, you will:

■   Create and maintain a document to track received contracts through to completion.

■   Work closely with the Commercial Team to ensure contracts are in place before transactions take place.

■   Work closely with the solicitors to check updates on where contracts are up to, thereafter keeping records up to date.

■   Be responsible for the process of arranging the proper execution of legal agreements and making sure there is an up to date copy of all contracts both in hard and electronic copies.

■   Communicate with all stakeholders including Directors.

Skills

■   Good analytical skills with the ability to interpret information from different sources and in a variety of formats.

■   Ability to work under pressure whilst managing own workload.

■   An understanding of legal language and contract processes.

■   Excellent communication skills.

■   Good IT skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

■   Ability to work under pressure, yet consistently have an attention to detail and accuracy.
