We are looking for a Returns and Test Technician to join a great, friendly team here on the Bardon Industrial Estate in Coalville, Leicestershire.

It’s a 9:00 am to 5:00 pm day Monday to Friday. We offer a starting salary of £21,000 along with Private Health Insurance, Company Pension, on-site gymnasium, free parking and 25 days a year holiday plus bank holidays.

We are a specialist provider of payments hardware, software and services for the retail, hospitality and infrastructure sectors, providing the backbone to our customers’ secure payments strategy. Every time you make a payment in a shop, restaurant, pub or supermarket in the UK, there’s a good chance it will be made on a payment device we’ve supplied.

The role is based in our air-conditioned Logistics Department and involves testing, repairing and loading software onto payment terminals. There is also a requirement to provide 2nd line telephone support. Full training is provided and you don’t have to be a technical expert to be successful in the role, but an interest in technology would be an advantage.

The successful Returns and Test Technician will have:

  • The ability to quickly react in a busy working environment to ensure that our customer’s requirements are met
  • The capability to work under pressure, yet consistently have an attention to detail and accuracy
  • The ability to work in a team environment
  • Good analytical skills and a methodical approach
  • Experience of using Microsoft Office
  • Good communication skills

Having GCSE grades of C/4 or above in English, Maths and ICT or equivalent is a requirement. A counterbalance forklift licence would be advantageous or a willingness to learn.

Hours of work are 9:00 am to 5:00 pm with a 1/2 an hour unpaid lunch break. There will be a need to be occasionally flexible with these hours of work at times and there will be the opportunity to work voluntary overtime if required.
